Daddy, make a picture

2-12 S. and I managed to get away twice, for breakfast and a post-insanity drink at Gators. Spent the day at my sister’s house playing with my nephews - supervising two of them and J. hanging off the monkey bars.

Sister has a business in her garage. Patronize it!

5:30 AM Been up for an hour.
10:00 AM Went for a walk.

12:30 PM Went on our official, day early, Valentines Day lunch date in Delray Beach. Ate at Bushe’s Seafood, on the Intercostal. Decent enough food, nice to get away from the kids and relax for a bit. Followed up with a half pint of Stella at some London-type pub. Pretty funny to be sitting in a dark pub when it’s 75 and sunny out and we’ve spent the previous month trapped in the house thanks to the snow and sub-zero weather.

Afternoon More walking and general hanging out. Wondering what the kids will be doing on vacation when they’re old enough to have something to do that doesn’t depend on us holding their hands or carrying them around. At least they’ll be able to carry their own damn luggage.
