I just can’t leave well enough alone. More changes and probably more to come as soon as I solve the left padding problem in the sidebar.

Maine town is center of solar system
If we ever decide to pull up stakes and move out of our little corner of the American dream, I want to move to Maine. Any state with people capable of imagining this, let alone doing it, is a state goofy enough for us.
This is a picture of my grandfather taken during the liberation of Paris.
I never knew the man — he died around the time I was born and soon afterwards his son, my father, and my mother divorced. So I didn’t have much contact with his family until later in life.
