I’m thinking about working on this design… honest
My girls are walking!
L has been footlose and fancy free for a couple of weeks now. And now it’s her default mode of transportation. She just stands up and goes.
S seems less sure of the whole idea. It’s almost as if she understands the technology but hasn’t bought into the whole idea yet. “Yeah, this walking thing is a nice idea but I can just have daddy carry me around…”
It’s just hysterical and wonderful to have two toddlerbots walking about the house. Not to mention terrifying for me, the dog, J, Sue and anyone else who’s watching and has an investment (emotional or otherwise) in anything within arm’s reach of two little girls standing up.

How old is L? My daughter, Elizabeth, is very interested in walking, but still has to be held by one or both hands. She’s 9 months old.
The girls will be 14 months old… tomorrow (yikes!). Both have been standing up for a few months - more or less doing the franken-baby walk with assistance from mommy or daddy since about a year old.
Now they’re fully powered toddlers. *sniff*
