Daddy, make a picture

We were really liking J’s new nursery school. But since he was moved from the fours to the threes class we’re getting some weird feedback from him. It’s been three weeks in the new class and every day he tells us he wasn’t asked to do the art project, or show and tell.. or whatever.

We already had one phone call with the director of the school to complain when he wasn’t called for show and tell and now he’s all upset because all the other children were asked to help cut paper and he wasn’t. That’s a big deal for a preschooler.

Not cool. Not at all. Especially given the timing with me back at work.

On the brighter side of things, he’s finally learning to speak up for himself. Too bad it had to happen this way.
