Daddy, make a picture

Things are going quite well here, considering. We’re both shocked to find ourselves doing what we always said we wouldn’t… be a two income family with kids. But it’s working - I’m here mornings till eight and Sue gets home by four so it’s not like we’re leaving the kids with Lindsey all day. Well a good chuck of the day but you know what I mean.

This weekend I took J to see the dinosaurs at the Peabody Museum (http://www.peabody.yale.edu/) in New Haven. My brother in law is (among a lot of other impressive things) a curator there so we got a personal tour. I think J know believes his Uncle is the coolest human being alive - he works in a building with dinosaurs.

The dinosaur room is one of those great old-fashioned ‘Damn they were BIG’ sort of displays and J was all agog at the sight of them. He also got to play with fossilized poop - a good thing for a four year old.

Anyway… time to go get ready for work… wow… I haven’t said that in ages.
