I’m thinking about working on this design… honest
I was planning on spending last night troubleshooting the network to see if it is indeed the router but my lovely daughters decided to stay up past 10 so instead I spent that time watching South Park with S and L.
I do think it is the router. I did manage to connect it directly to this computer and I tried to get on the administrative page but couldn’t get it to load completely - it kept stalling out.
Anyone have any suggestions for a router / hub for home network use that’s CHEAP and works, I’d appreciate it….
I recently picked up an SMC router that I’m having ok luck with using, at least the ethernet part of it:

It’s a $20 rebate going with it right now, too.
I haven’t got the wireless card to work yet, but I fault my own fiddling around with it for that problem. There’s something squirrelly with the connection that have to figure out yet. Bleh.
