Snow Crash and Diamond Age (Or The Young Lady's Illustrated Primer, whatever) are great books. But I'm afraid of Quicksilver. The last time I picked up a book by an author I loved that was that huge it was Don Delillo's Underworld. Never did finish that book . . . You know, I love Neal.
