I love you, I really do

Sue is a wonderful wife, mother, life-companion, yadda yadda …

But…

Every now and then she can buy some toy or some thing for the kids that makes you go ‘what in the name of Doctor Sears and that is good and holy in the world made you think of buying THAT?’

Last month is was spray bottles. You know the type you fill up with water and amonia if you are too cheap to buy windex… Telling small children that they can fill the bottles up with water and spray themselves and everything that moves but only outside is like telling the dog that he can use the computer but only if he uses it for good and not evil.

So now that the couches have finally dried out and the carpet in the family room no longer smells moldy, yesterday Sue came home from a shopping excursion with a box of marbles. 100+ marbles. Little hard round marbles. That are soon going to be in every nook and cranny of the house, under couches, inside the baseboards, in our bed, in the toilet, etc.

And just imagine what it’s like to pick up 100+ marbles three our four times a day.

I love you Sue, I really do… but ….

Oh, forget it.

Welcome to my wonderful world of marble mishaps! When Lillianna “forgets” to pick them up
and Rich “forgets” to remind her, I have marbles in the living room that just call to me
to come and step and slide on them. The big marbles really hurt. Good luck!! I really hate
those darn marbles!!!!! Rich keeps adding to her collection to make it really fun for me!

How often does sue read your site? Does she like wine and flowers? Because you may need to pick some up.
