Black Flag will be inducted. Gary has a point; the complexion of the nominations altogether is bound to change with time.

This says it all

"The Replacements were the link between the '60s creative explosion of the Who and the Beatles and the whole renaissance of the '90s with Nirvana and Pearl Jam," said Los Angeles Times critic Robert Hilburn, who is on the nominating committee for the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. "They'll never get to the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame because they didn't sell enough records, but creatively they deserve to be there."

Hmm, since you have bands like Black Flag, Flipper, Circle Jerks, Minor Threat and Husker Du in that list I'm going to have to check out some of the ones I haven't heard of in there.

You know, Husker Du has gained more and more respect over the years. As the old guard of voters gives way to a newer generation, you may see a band like this hit the Hall. I would even add Pavement to that list.
