Yep been there and done it many times too. "The cleaning lady is coming today? Shit, we'd better clean the place up a bit before she gets here". :-) As for the dishwasher thing...I don't do that but when I was putting dishes into a dishwasher some years ago at my mother-in-laws, I heard her say (she's Portuguese) to my wife, in a distainful way -- "Don't the English wash the plates before putting them in the dishwasher, then?". Sheesh. :-) Heh. Yep been there and done it many times too.
