Finally…

Finally the mainstream media is starting to realize what the rest of us have known all along… that the boy emperor has no clothes.

Eric saw the same things I did this morning. Reporters and anchorbots aren’t taking the spin anymore.

We’re not crazy and this administration isn’t going to get away with it this time.

I hope.

Just heard the mayor talking on the radio (BBC Radio 4) and boy was he angry.

    The video is at http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/09/02/katrina.nagin/

Bush is getting a lashing (rightly so) over here. I don’t know how he’ll wriggle out of this one.

BBC news on TV here talking about Bush. Quote from reporter,

“After 5 days the President finally called for help in dealing with the national disaster by enlisting the help of two previous presidents”

Should have finished with “Because he has got ____ clue what to do!”

I hope so too. Watching the news has been staggering. Reporters are almost as scared and frustrated as the victims. Bush needs to pay a price for this. We the people have to make sure that he does.

Did you see Anderson Cooper of CNN go after some LA pol who answered his concerns with thanks to everyone who has even given a thought to her state? She gave no real anwers, but his response is pretty good.
