I’m thinking about working on this design… honest
Ok, so it’s not as bad as New Orleans, or South Florida, but dammit, we have no power and there are trees down for
crying out loud.
So since NYSEG says we’re going to wait another day or so, we’re camping out at the lovely Stamford Suites hotel. I can’t complain. There are people in Greenwich who have been without power for four days. Pity the poor people of Greenwich!!!
OK… stop laughing at me.
The kids are having the time of their lives - this is a totally unexpected overnight adventure. Mommy is trying to watch American Idol (good luck) and me, I’m blogging.
So when you go to bed tonite in your warm, comfortable homes, think of us, the poor displaced of Greenwich, New Canaan, Pound Ridge, Redding….
OK, really, stop laughing. Cut it out!
hotel stamford suites storm
We were only out for 6 hours…not bad on the whole.
smp
we only had a short blackout folowed by browns from time to time…
lots of tree limbs down, but nothing major or damaging so far…
we did see an entire huge tree that had fallen across a house in a major way over by sean’s girlfriend’s house - looked scary, couldn’t tell how much true damage though…
have fun on your adventure
No power outages for me, though I hear people as far up as Wesport lost power for at least 8 hours.
I feel for you. Really. Honestly. Seriously.
Stop looking at me that way.
Here, this’ll cheer you up

I am jealous of your kids. I love staying in hotels, even when they’re motels.
I think I am half-Eloise.
