Hey, I just had a similar problem with stitching coming undone in my Detour bag. Man, the design of that bag is great, but I think the quality control in their Chinese factory need a little work. Anyhoo, I also filled out the webform, printed out a copy *and* mailed it in with my bag. After about 2 1/2 weeks, I got an email with a $100 credit towards a new bag. Incidentally, they're coming out with a Detour 2.0 with improved stitching and I also think they're going to be coming out with a Commute 2.0. I'm wondering if you actually returned your defective bag to Timbuk2. If not, then perhaps you misread the instructions--because I think the webform is the equivalent of an RMA--it serves no purpose unless you return the merchandise. Also, I find that they do answer emails, but there can be a 2-day lag if they're busy. Good luck and I recommend you do the same as me--return the bag and wait for the improved version release to use your credit. I'm a bag junkie, and I haven't found any designs nearly as good as the Timbuk2 commuter bags. Cheers.

I harp a lot about how stupid companies are with their customer service models.
