My sister has taken my advice and started a blog as a part of her online business.
Andrea sells cloth diapers and accessories to other moms through the wonders of the Interweb. When I started nudging her about this she said, quite rightly, what would I write about? I suggested that since she’s an at-home, La Leche League-member, attachment parenting mom selling products to other moms, her customers might want a better sense of who they are sending their credit card numbers to.
What’s really impressive here is that she’s managed to create a marketing tool that really reflects who she is and what she cares about – it’s a bit opinionated, very passionate and very very practical. Just like my kid sister. And hopefully it’s a reflection of the kind of merchant her customers want to feel they are buying from at a very important time in their lives.
Good job sister… not that that’s any reflection of your big brother….
