Chris Anderson makes sense out of what I was trying to say here and here.
If you laughed when you saw this picture in the Times, you are on one side of the divide.
Anderson makes the point that we are entering an age of niche cultures, leaving the age when the choices were such that we all could conceivably have watched the same show last night.
So I’m going to just get out of the way and say ‘go read it.’
