whew!

Kool Aid ManAs if the giant anthropromorphic jug of Kool Aid wasn’t enough of a tip off, the transition from WordPress 1.5.1.2 to WordPress 2.0 wasn’t nearly as traumatic as I initially though it would be.

So there. I lived.

You may now resume normal activities. Nothing to see here. Move along.

Hey, kid.. move along.

Beat it! M’kay?

emergency request

anyone with some heavy duty WordPress smarts – ie, can fix what’s wrong here – please drop me a line.

thanks!

Update: It seems that something in my plugins folder has gone wonky – so I’m going to do an upgrade to WordPress 2.0 a bit sooner than I’d have liked to, but at least it’s a weekend. Expect ongoing wonkieness and a return to normalcy sometime this evening.

That is all…

the Conversation

Riffing on a Steve Rubel post, Pete Caputa imagines a conversation between the clue-ed in PR guy and the clue-less CEO.

Pete and I had a conversation earlier where I said the nice thing about being out of the PR agency world is that I can work with clients who don’t need blogging and social media explained to them, or if they do, they are at least aware that this is something they need learn.

I’ve tried being the “evangelist” and all I got back were empty stares and “wait, how is this different from message boards?”

So the answer to Pete’s hypothetical is “if you have to ask, you can’t afford.”
