It’s still a small world

My latest for AppleMatters, a very tongue in cheek look at how Disney will impact Apple and vice versa.

So what if I am?

CHICAGO—All 17 customers at Chicago’s Urn coffee shop were billing third parties for time spent there. “The people on laptops are web designers, unless they have big headphones—those are either musicians or producers,” said the Urn’s owner, Maria Carmichael, who wrote her coffee shop’s business plan in a coffee shop.

Dumbest governor ever

The segment, which aired two weeks ago, also featured Illinois Republican Rep. Ron Stephens, a pharmacist who opposes the governor’s order to pharmacies. Stephens has said he knew the show was a comedy.

“I thought the governor was hip enough that he would have known that, too,” Stephens said.

Resolved… if you don’t know the Daily Show is a spoof, you are too dumb to be in politics.

megite.gif It’s like having my own personal memetracker.

Wait, it IS having my own personal memetracker.

You think PR agencies could use something like this to ’see’ what’s going on in their clients’ space? Does anyone else see a market here?
