Kids: skip trying to make the football team and get your parents to spring for that Mac Mini. Start hacking. Get on the IRC. Hit an unconference or two. You’ll end up making money, hanging with the cool kids, wearing superfly t shirts, saving the world and meeting some cute geek chick.
Sounds good. My kids are growing up on a steady diet of Astro Boy and MacOS X.
