this, that and the other thing

Until I can wrap my mind around an actual blog post, this will have to do…

Having travelled on several long car trips with a GPS now, I’m thinking long and hard about the implications on how we travel. No more relying on the highway reststops, you can go off the Interstate and drive for miles on backtroads to find that diner with the interesting name. In our case it was the Middle of Nowhere Diner on the way out and the Shawmut Diner on the way home. So will places that normally catered to locals see a sudden increase in businesses from folks passing through on the Interstate? Hard to say. You have to have a sense of adventure, the GPS just gives you directions.

Why does every set of directions on Cape Cod involve a left turn on 6A, 28, 6 or some other major roadway? Shel, can you help me out here?

Speaking of Shel, thanks for the linkage and kind words. Mensche does not even begin to describe….

Money Magazine just discovered that in a world of open APIs, Biz Dev guys are no longer needed.

Um.. duh?

Was this something we needed??

Neil Gaiman’s American Gods is the best novel I’ve read in ages that wasn’t written by Neal Stephenson.
