From the Communications 2.0 conference in NYC.
“and then they got all posty.” Andrew Barron
“Buzzwords ontop of buzzwords on top of buzzwords.” Steve Rubel
Leave it to Steve Rubel to point out the obvious, that everyone here is framing the conversation in terms favorable to the marketers. Why do marketers think the conversations are about you, or even care about you? Why do we think bloggers are waiting to be targeted?
What are the motivation of the bloggers you are approaching.. that’s the key methodology. Why are people blogging, what gets them to their computer.
Most of this is pretty obvious to anyone who’s been paying attention over the past five or so years. People who blog talk about companies. Bloggers like to link and especially to each other.
Bonus link… some one asked Andrew Barron where Amanda was. I guess I wasn’t the only one in the audience who was wondering…
Bonus wisdom – Ronn Torossian cuts through the bullshit and asks who is not biased?
