One of the reasons this blog (and business) is called Marketing Begins At Home is because I do work out of my home. It’s also a reference to the values of the company – I grew sick and tired of working for bosses who saw their home lives as a liability towards ‘getting ahead’ and assumed that their minions felt the same. I am determined to build a business and a work life that exists to give me space for my family and not the other way around.
So tomorrow I’m heading down to Florida for WeMedia and Scrapblog and I’m thrilled that the Twin Princesses are coming with me. They’ll be staying with my folks – my Mother has planned a full schedule of maj jong, canasta, manicures and showing off to the neighbors as well as shopping and repeated viewings of High School Musical. I don’t know who’s more excited.
