The whole world’s gone yellow

Multimedia messageFor 50 weeks they are a tangled mess of branches that border the roads and driveways of the New York suburbs. But for these two weeks every year the forsythia shrubs explode into yellow, waking us to the onset of spring.

Take a deep breath everyone. Put away the coats, the boots and the shovels. It’s springtime.
