		<description>My reading trajectory of Rubel has been similar to yours and I think the skunk drunk post is right-on. But...I think there&#039;s a lack of self-awareness in this post. He&#039;s as guilty as anyone in turning up the knob on the hype-o-meter. Too much link love for the kind of Web2.0 bandwagon fluff that he now complains about. Even today, there&#039;s straight-faced, uncritical link to Bush administration blogs which are obviously PR machine product, the antithesis of the &quot;authentic&quot; blog he ostensibly supports. This stuff undermines the longer analytical posts.</description>
