It was a pleasure to meet with Jose Castillo who’s BarCamp presentation on children and the Web parallels a lot of the thoughts I’ve been having on the subject. In fact it closely paralleled what I’m going to be talking about next Sunday at SXSW.
Also talking on the subject is David Pogue in his blog entry today.
Last year I had a similar experience to David’s. I was more or less disinvited to speak to a local group when it became clear to them that I wasn’t going to tell the parents to be afraid of teh MySpace.
Andy Singleton of client Assembla.com is demoing how to build a full fledged web company in 24 days.
First step – find a name and register it. Andy registered respondz.com.
The company will serve up offers from sponsors based on visitors filling out questionnaires on their preferences and interests.
We’ll be blogging this and updating it as things grow and develop. This is for real folks….
