Marketing Begins At Home

It was a pleasure to meet with Jose Castillo who’s BarCamp presentation on children and the Web parallels a lot of the thoughts I’ve been having on the subject. In fact it closely paralleled what I’m going to be talking about next Sunday at SXSW.

Also talking on the subject is David Pogue in his blog entry today.

Last year I had a similar experience to David’s. I was more or less disinvited to speak to a local group when it became clear to them that I wasn’t going to tell the parents to be afraid of teh MySpace.
