JP Morgan spent less to acquire Bear Sterns than the New York Yankees did to secure Alex Rodriguez.

Kind of puts things in perspective, don’t it?

Amen, sir. When I saw the total, I said to myself, “You mean Bear Stearns cost less than it would take to buy the PIRATES?!”
