This morning The Princess and I went to the beach. We headed out to Bodega Bay, better known as the place Hitchcock filmed The Birds. Nothing looked even remotely familiar to me but I did shoot a load of great pictures, of which this one is my current favorite.
And The Princess got to stick her toe in the Pacific.

After my session this morning, the Princess and I drove down to Sonoma for some wine tasting. Well I did the tasting. She drove.
Gary Vaynerchuk gave a glowing recommendation to the Audelssa Vineyards in Glen Ellen. And when Gary Vee says it’s his favorite place in Sonoma, you have to go.
So there I was with my daughter, standing in front of the tasting room which unfortunately was only open by appointment. A couple of phone calls to the main office brought someone down from the mountain top to open the doors and admit us to the Palace of Wonders.
That’s what makes this social media stuff so much fun and so wonderful. An email, a blog entry, a video blog and there’s some guy and his daughter from the other side of the continent on someone’s door step because he heard the wine was good.
And the wine was very good.
We’re here at the New Communications Forum, learning stuff…
Update: Yep, this was a demo. Great session this morning. We are truly moving beyond talking about if we should blog. I’m jazzed and energized by the discussions going on here and looking forward to tomorrow.
