Nice notice

A nice article in the Fairfield County Businss Journal about the Business Smart Tools conference last week.

Parmet said using blogs is one way that a small business can get a customer base extending across the nation or around the world.

One of Parmet’s clients is a tailor in the famous Saville Row tailoring district in London. The tailor enjoyed blogging about the history of Saville Row, about tailoring and about his business.

See? Like any good PR guy I get my client in the story.

Anyway, I’m packing up and heading out so the next time you hear from me I’ll be on the other side. See you at Supernova.

Dave Pogue

Interesting comment from Dave Pogue – he was doing a segment on blogs for CBS This Morning. Working on the theory that no one in the Real World knows what a blog is … he did a remote in NY’s Times Square. The problem was everyone they talked to, including a 65 year old priest, not only knew what blogs were but read them as well.

He’s now on the ‘blogger horror story’ bandwagon – bloggers can ruin your business… beware the blogger swarm. Gee, I gotta wonder, there’s never been a newspaper that’s libeled anyone?
