I’m home from Florida, long enough to dump my clothes in the wash and repack to head up to Boston for the second annual SNCR Awards Gala and Research Symposium.
Are you going? You should be.
And we’re still toying with the idea of a Boston Bloggers get together on Thursday night. If you are interested, add your thoughts to the wiki.

I’ll be in Boston on December 5 and 6 for the second annual SNCR Research Symposium and Awards Gala.
How about a blogger meet-up / dinner on Thursday the 6th?
Update: we have a wiki.

The three week travel marathon is finally over and apart from a family trip later this month, there’s no more travel for me this year (probably…).
Giovanni Rodriguez summed up the just-completed Society for New Communications Research Symposium thusly:
Wasn’t too long ago that I felt the PR conversation about social media was getting stale. It’s gotten a lot more interesting lately, and this first SNCR symposium lived up to its name.
I’d been feeling for a few months that we’d reach the point where we’re staring at the wall at the end of the alleyway. Everything that could be said about social media and marketing had already been conferenced to death and if I had to fly across the country to sit in one more panel on ‘empowering the community’ or ‘transparency’ I was going to pack it all in and go work for a traditional agency.
These last few days in Boston have convinced me otherwise. See you all in Vegas in March.
